Summer Outreach Update 2024

Pictured above: Poiema’s newest Outreach Campus leaders from Crossroads Church in Rowlett!

Hi Poiema family,

Over the summer, we launched a new outreach campus in Rowlett. Thanks to your efforts, 325+ volunteers distributed missing kids’ posters and gathered supportive intel. We are astounded and grateful for the dedication and consistency of our volunteers!

Keep reading to find out more about our new campus and the ways that God has been at work through our outreach efforts!

  • May:
    • A passerby shared with our Dallas team that, a few days prior, she saw two girls on the missing kids’ poster at a local DART station. One is still missing but the other was recovered! Join us in praying for continued safety for both girls.
    • The manager at a hotel on Bedford’s route shared that he goes over the flyer with his hotel staff during their employee meetings! This is a HUGE partner win!
    • A gas station employee in Mansfield saw a girl from the poster and provided extremely helpful intel details, including videotape footage, that our team sent to 4TheOne.
    • Out of the twelve kids on the posters, FIVE were safely located!
  • June
    • Jill Wilson, a private investigator with 4TheOne, shared that their team received a crucial tip that helped them locate C. Spriggs. Wilson told us, “Your posters work!!!” Praise God!
    • A hotel employee in Mesquite saw J. Goodjoint the week prior and provided important information. The missing girl was located soon after.
    • R. Banks called the poster tipline to report that she was safe and no longer missing. This allowed 4TheOne to use the number that she called to confirm her safety and ensure she wasn’t posted in sex ads in the area.
    • NINE out of the thirteen kids on the posters were recovered!
  • July:
    • We launched a new campus through Crossroads Church in Rowlett. It is with great joy that we partner with the two couples leading the new campus—Stan and Rosie Lauterback and Denny and Joanne McFarland—and their amazing team of volunteers! Please give them a warm welcome!
    • A hotel on one of the Rowlett team’s routes used to be on a former campus’s route. When the Rowlett team visited the hotel, the owner was overjoyed to have Poiema back; he had missed joining our efforts to locate missing kids!
    • At a hotel in Rockwall, a guest and hotel manager both confirmed that, recently, an individual was bringing young girls in. The manager had told this man to stop dropping girls off at the hotel, and the guest shared that the lot next door is a hot spot for prostitution. 4TheOne Private Investigators are now investigating this situation.
    • FIVE of the fourteen children on the posters were found!

Thank you for your hard work that made this possible!!!
